About Our Pastor
Ministerial visionary,
entrepreneur, and spiritual leader to many people, Elder
Leroy Divinity, Jr. began his first pastorate, in the early
90’s at the Christ Temple Church of Christ (Holiness) USA,
New Orleans, Louisiana. Nearly 10 years later he is
currently the proud Pastor of the Midway Church of Christ
(Holiness) USA in Folsom, Louisiana.
Pastor Divinity married the
former Pamella Burkhalter in May 1996 and the two of them
are partnered in ministry serving as our First Family.
Pastor Leroy and First Lady Pamella are the parents of four
beautiful children; Israel, Leroy III, Antonia, and Deborah
Divinity.
Elder Divinity was born second
of three children in Marrero, Louisiana. His parents, Deacon
Leroy and Mildred Divinity are credited as the source of his
own integrity, discipline, and self-reliance. Pastor
Divinity graduated as class valedictorian from West
Jefferson High School in 1984. Then went on to graduate
from Loyola University with a BA in Political Science in
1988, and finally from Harvard University with a Master’s in
Public Policy. He is currently working on a Ph.D. at the
University of New Orleans.
Elder Divinity is dedicated to
the ministry of Jesus Christ. His dedication to the
building of God’s kingdom is exemplified in his commitment to
excellence, determination, and faithfulness. His ministry
of service exceeds being a National, Diocese, and District
Officer of the Church of Christ (Holiness) USA, Counselor
for Turning Point Outreach Ministries, Vice President of the
Community Ministerial Alliance, and President of the
Concerned Parent Action Committee (CPAC) of Folsom. Pastor
Divinity is the founder and president of Paraclete
Consulting Group, INC. (pcginc@bellsouth.net)
specializing in Grant Writing, Management, Organizational
Analysis, Donor Researchers, Strategic Planning, and Program
Development-Implementation-Evaluation.
Pastor Leroy Divinity, Jr. has
truly been anointed and called in such a time as this to
teach and proclaim the un-searchable riches of the word of
God.
